A leading company in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Project Engineer to join their dynamic Aberdeen team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in project coordination, experience with offshore crane operations, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Responsibilities include support for crane repairs, project management, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Salary Dependant on Experience Circa £35k-£45k, plus additional benefits.

We are recruiting a Project Engineer with over 2 years of experience to join our client's dynamic Aberdeen team. If you have a background in project coordination, mobilising equipment and staff across multiple assets, and have worked in the oil and gas industry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Support offshore crane repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance.
  • Manage projects, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Source spare parts and plan refurbishment for mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct and participate in lifting studies.
  • Prepare workpacks for offshore/onsite activities.
  • Lead offshore/onshore surveys and define project scopes.
  • Generate tenders and offers for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Implement safe and environmentally sound work methods.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (HND/HNC considered).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Independent and team-oriented work capabilities.
  • Experience with offshore crane and lifting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Word.
