PROJECT ENGINEER - MAJOR WATER FRAMEWORKS

Your new company

You will be working for the nation's leading solutions provider for infra' and non-infra' water services. As a division, our client employs over 3000 people across the UK, and they are looking for aspiring people like you, who are keen to build their career within the Water Industry. Our client provides essential infrastructure services through long-term framework agreements with the water and wastewater sectors in the UK and Ireland. Their Water Division provides a broad range of technical capabilities to their clients, ranging from asset condition assessment to design, build, commissioning and completion. With a 2.1 billion order book and turnover of 450 million, they are market leaders in their field. Your new role

You will be tasked with leading the conveyance of on-site work, offering guidance to all subcontractor/trades workers on site and instructing them how to carry out the work in accordance with specifications, regulations and client needs using your expert knowledge. You will also be partly responsible for the cost management and on-time delivery of project work.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Knowledgeable in planning and resource scheduling.
  2. Hold an appropriate professional engineering qualification.
  3. Demonstrate excellent customer management and external stakeholder management skills.
  4. A strong negotiator.
  5. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the regulatory processes that govern AW's IOS Initiative.
  6. Previous Project Management experience.
  7. Strong cost and risk-based analysis skills.
  8. Experience working in an operational water setting.
