Job description

As a Project Engineer in our Nuclear and Power business, you’ll enjoy the variety of work in our fast-growing Project Engineering capability, assisting with a wide range of exciting nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C (HPC), Sizewell C (SZC), Small Modular Reactors (SMR), and Defence opportunities. Projects range from design to site-based engineering, covering AtkinsRéalis delivery across Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and Installation fields.

Your Purpose:

  • Hold a Degree, HND/C, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or General Engineering.
  • Be motivated to apply your skills and gain new ones through exciting opportunities in the nuclear industry.
  • Have experience or awareness of engineering practices within safety-regulated industries.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector is not mandatory—experience in applying multi-disciplinary or technical knowledge from industries such as Nuclear, Military, Oil & Gas, or Marine is also valued.
