A leading UK services provider is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support school projects. Responsibilities include project coordination, technical oversight, and site management. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the education sector or PFI projects, and possesses strong project management skills. Flexibility in working hours is required.
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team supporting a School Private Finance Initiative. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of school defect repairs and mechanical & electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards while being completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with contractors, stakeholders and operations teams to manage site activities, oversee technical compliance and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, preferably with experience in the education sector or PFI projects, excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
You will be joining our Total FM team at Swindon Schools, where we provide integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors, ensuring facilities operate safely, efficiently and at their best.
Due to the nature of the work, flexibility is essential as some tasks will need to be carried out outside of school hours. Working hours are set on a negotiable shift rota of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm and some weekend work may be required. An enhanced DBS will be required. This is a fixed-term contract ending on 31st December 2026.
