Job description

Responsibilities / Tasks

1. Interact daily with project team members, internally and externally, to ensure timely progress of engineering projects.
2. Work with Production Engineering to load projects to ERP system.
3. Work with Procurement to resolve exception reports created by ERP system.
4. Work with Production and Warehouse to manage material deliveries to Manufacturing.
5. Work with Customer Services to manage orders through ERP system.
6. Work with Project Management to report status of projects.
7. Work with Engineering to resolve engineering issues.
8. Work with Technical Product Managers to collate technical documentation for final safety sign off of equipment.
9. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
10. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
11. Resolve any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly.
12. Identify potential problems with the project, lead the team into developing solutions and ensure that they are implemented.
13. Host meetings to track and drive progress of projects.
14. Build, develop and maintain relationships within the project team.
15. Work with third-party contractors/suppliers to develop viable time scales and working practices.
16. Manage project schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, translate product drawings into actionable process information and develop design ideas and plans successfully.
• Degree in engineering or experience in relevant engineering field (mechanical / electrical).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to cultivate good relationships.
• Understanding of design and visualisation software.
• Excellent analytical and judgement skills.
• Work autonomously with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build morale among the teams and drive projects through the business.
• Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables.
