A leading company in the environmental services sector is seeking a Waste Proactive Project Engineer to support their Proactive Waste Programmes. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Waste Proactive Project Engineer is a key role to support in the successful delivery of the Proactive Waste Programmes along with supplementary associated projects. You will be responsible for day-to-day coordination, contract management and safety of the projects, all delivered through audit compliance and operational excellence.
You will secure safe and efficient execution of the Proactive Waste Programmes, as measured by the success of our ODI, compliance, and productivity performance and will need to work with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure programme delivery and regulatory requirements are met.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are looking for a candidate who has a combination of project management and engineering experience. This individual needs to be competent in the end to end management of projects and enjoy the challenge of fast-paced environment. Well-developed interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication and conflict management are also vitally important.
We are also looking for the essential experience for the role:
• Experience of influencing stakeholders to deliver Operational programme objectives
• Water engineering sector experience or similar (Petrochem / Pharmaceutical / Food / Aerospace / Power / Utilities)
• Experience of working within client / supply chain framework.
• Application of complex risk management principals, particularly in relation to customers and other key stakeholders
• Able to understand and apply SBF principles with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience of working to standards, codes and practices.
• Experience of working closely with supply chain in delivering projects (with emphasis on adherence to deliverables, milestones, specification, H&S, outputs, and quality).
