We are supporting a global manufacturer in their search for a Project Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with long-term development potential in a highly innovative and stable business.
As Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in leading site-wide capital projects, process improvements, and equipment upgrades. You’ll be responsible for the development, design, and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance across a diverse manufacturing environment.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll take ownership of multiple projects from concept through to commissioning, ensuring targets for time, cost, and quality are consistently met.

Core duties include:

Leading and supporting capital and continuous improvement projects
Developing detailed mechanical specifications and drawings
Providing technical input across a range of manufacturing equipment and processes
Managing tender analysis, supplier validation, and project execution
Supporting safe site operation through risk assessment and permit control
Maintaining accurate mechanical documentation and engineering records

About you:

Recognised degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
Proven background in mechanical project engineering, ideally in a manufacturing or process environment
Experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or Inventor
Familiar with risk assessment methodologies
Exposure to chemical or industrial processes is beneficial
