Project Controller – Infrastructure & Regulated Industries

Location: Bristol (with UK-wide client travel, primarily South/South-West)

Type: Permanent

We’re working with a high-performing consultancy supporting major programmes across the infrastructure, energy, and utilities sectors. They’re seeking an experienced Project Controller to help ensure the effective delivery of large-scale, high-value projects through robust planning, reporting, and risk management.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to nationally significant programmes while developing your expertise within a dynamic, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely project controls data (e.g. schedule, risk, and earned value) to enable effective decision-making.
  • Support the delivery of complex programmes to agreed time, cost, and quality baselines.
  • Engage with stakeholders and project teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Contribute to bids and tender submissions where needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven background in project controls or project management support roles.
  • Strong understanding of planning, risk, and performance reporting.
  • Experience in infrastructure, energy, or related sectors.
  • Proficient in tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Degree-qualified with relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMQ, ChPP, MSP).

Desirable

  • Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Earned Value Management (EVM), or risk frameworks (MoR/ERM).
  • Prior consultancy or client-side experienc
