Overview

Dunbia UK is an industry leader in food manufacturing, and an excellent opportunity has arisen at the Carnaby site.

This new position will add to the current engineering team to lead and drive customer and site projects. The Project Engineer will be accountable for providing solutions using advanced project expertise to deliver engineering strategies and minimize commercial risk.

The Project Engineer will report directly to the site Engineering Manager, overseeing projects from planning to implementation and completion, focusing on site systems, equipment, and machinery. Ensuring projects are executed smoothly and effectively, meeting departmental targets within deadlines, and maintaining quality and cost control.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and plan projects from inception to acceptance, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time with quality focus.
  • Utilize internal and external resources effectively to deliver projects best practice.
  • Develop strong relationships to improve project execution and foster repeat business.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback.
  • Plan scheduled work and respond to unforeseen activities, ensuring engineering team requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and implement remedial actions for any shortfalls.
  • Work within quality standards, industry regulations, Health & Safety policies, and company policies.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Provide progress reports and performance analysis to management.
  • Work hands-on alongside the engineering team.
