Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to take responsibility for all technical aspects from design to execution on water treatment projects. You will ensure deliverables meet technical, time and budget requirements and support progression into Project Management.

You will apply process engineering on systems, manage engineering documentation, assist on-site for project success, and align bids with equipment while ensuring installation requirements are defined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with process equipment such as pumps, vessels and tanks
• Water treatment knowledge is advantageous
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Experience as a project coordinator, project engineer or project manager
• Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards

Responsibilities

• Process engineering on systems and standard plant equipment to ensure a well-engineered efficient water treatment system including process designs and calculations
• Overall responsibility for the generation and control of project engineering documents
• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
• Technical alignment of bids and equipment
• Define plant layout and installation requirements

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to be responsible for all technical aspects on projects from design to execution stage, fulfilling suitable technical, time and budget deliverables. We are especially interested in those who have experienced project execution roles within a Project Management team and seek progression into Project Management.
