Job summary

Envirogen, a growing water solutions business, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead technical work from design to execution, delivering on time and within budget. You will work within the Project Management team to drive project success and progression into PM roles.

Responsibilities include process engineering on water treatment systems, managing engineering documents, and supporting on-site activities to ensure project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with process equipment, pumps, vessels, and tanks.
• Water treatment technology knowledge preferred.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process engineering on systems and plant equipment to design and optimize water treatment systems.
• Generate and control project engineering documents.
• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success.
• Define plant layout and installation requirements; ensure bids and equipment align with project plan.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to be responsible for all technical aspects on projects from design to execution stage, fulfilling suitable technical, time and budget deliverables. We are especially interested in those who have experienced project execution roles within a Project Management team and seek progression into Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Process engineering on systems and standard plant equipment to ensure a well-engineered efficient water treatment system including process designs and calculations.
• Overall responsibility for the generation and control of project engineering documents Assist with on-site management to ensure project success Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines Technical alignment of bids and equipment Define plant layout and installation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with key process equipment, pumps, vessels, tanks etc
• Water treatment technology knowledge would be great
• Experience with MS office applications
• Experience as aproject coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
• Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Background in engineering.
• Experience in managing water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management software.
