Job description

As a Project Engagement Lead, you will coordinate and attend public and community events related to the environment and construction. You'll also participate in quarterly Stakeholder Advisory Group meetings, sharing action points with the team, and attend weekly and monthly progress meetings to identify communication opportunities. You'll be responsible for keeping the project team updated on communication activities, inputting key risks into the project risk register, and raising any program concerns.

You will oversee content creation for the Future Water website and social media, while also producing materials for award submissions and industry press articles. Communicating professionally with the public is key, as you'll respond to inquiries and provide summaries for the client. You'll ensure that the Stakeholder & Community Engagement Plan is followed, work with the client's communications team to celebrate milestones, and help coordinate third-party site visits.

In addition, you'll manage the Project Engagement Officer and support STEM initiatives and school visits. You'll also assist with CSR activities, such as charity and community projects.

Skills & Knowledge

Strong communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage with the public and handle conflict.

Experience creating content for newsletters and social media.

Comfortable working in a construction environment.
