Project Director - Power, EMEA

Turner Lovell is working closely with a global Energy Engineering Services business to source a Project Director to join the senior leadership team within their Power business line. This is an exciting role overseeing a team of Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery for medium to large scale EPC projects across the UK, Spain, Germany, and the Middle East. You will also play an active role in the further strategic expansion throughout the EMEA region.

This role will be accountable across several key areas:

1. Manages large engineering projects involving multiple clients or partners or medium EPC projects.
2. Manages multiple clients and/or projects where the project team, client structure and/or project location present greater challenges.
3. Obtains new/repeat business on large size projects; supports contract negotiations with clients.
4. Manages multiple risks which includes fixed price or new technology or non-domestic markets or new clients.

To be considered for this role you should have:

1. Depth and breadth of experience in Power projects.
2. Extensive Project Director/Management experience with an Engineering and Construction industry background. Experience with leading EPC companies will be seen favourably.
3. Mid to Large scale EPC/EPCM project experience, predominantly on the contractor side vs client.
4. Proven leadership experience and adept at managing client relationships at the most senior levels.
5. Track record in actively supporting business development activity.
6. Comprehensive UK market experience with a strong network and knowledge of key clients, competitors, and current industry trends.
7. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
