The Company

A leading Renewable Energy organization with a significant pipeline of offshore projects to build across the UK/European region. The recent announcement of contracts has led to further expansion and investment to grow their team, with the organization looking to secure a Project Director - HVDC to oversee the offshore wind EPC contracts of one of their exciting offshore assignments.

The Role

1. Oversee the development, construction, and delivery of a Megaproject worth up to £2B
2. Lead and manage the project organization including Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineering Managers
3. Support negotiation of contracts and select sub-contractors
4. Develop and implement safety protocols for sites and workers, including risk assessments and method statements
5. Lead and manage sub-contractors
6. Prepare and provide site progress reports and report to executive leadership (Vice President)

The Person

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical
2. Experience overseeing large projects (£500M+) from cradle to grave in Offshore Wind Energy, Civil, Rail, etc.
3. Prior management of 15+ direct reports
4. Fluent in English (verbal and written)
