We are working with an organization seeking a tenacious and experienced Fire Safety Project Director to lead the remediation of buildings in a major residential community. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the safety and well-being of residents through comprehensive fire safety and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence, challenge, negotiate, and oversee the design, procurement, planning, execution, and statutory sign-offs of remediation projects
  • Collaborate with the Legal Team on claims against third parties related to remediation works
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for Building Safety Fund grant applications
  • Ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors while minimizing disruption during remediation works
  • Develop and implement a robust reporting and communications plan to support decision-making and capital approvals
  • Ensure cost recovery from liable third parties for construction defects
  • Maintain the insurability and investment value of buildings
  • Optimize financial exposure and manage project budgets effectively
  • Produce comprehensive project data and records for future reference
