Job Description:

We are partnered with a global leader in delivering high-performance infrastructure for mission-critical environments. As the demand for hyperscale and enterprise data centres continues to grow, we are seeking a seasoned EPC Project Director to join our leadership team and oversee the execution of large-scale, technically complex projects across the EMEA region.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of data centre projects from engineering through procurement to construction. You will play a strategic leadership role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

  • Lead the delivery of complex data centre projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from conception and front-end engineering design (FEED) to commissioning and operational handover.
  • Provide high-level oversight across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), ensuring cohesive coordination and execution across all project phases.
  • Define and manage detailed project plans, deliverables, and goals, ensuring alignment with client expectations, financial frameworks, and timeline commitments.
  • Lead, support, and develop cross-functional project teams, encouraging synergy among engineering, procurement, and construction functions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, enforcing compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards tailored to data centre environments.
  • Track project financials, timelines, and key performance indicators, ensuring delivery remains on schedule and within scope and budget.
  • Act as the principal liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors, facilitating clear communication, managing key relationships, and resolving project issues effectively.
  • Lead contract administration activities, including negotiating terms, managing variations and claims, and maintaining alignment with all stakeholder and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 10+ years of experience managing large-scale EPC projects, preferably in the data centre, industrial, or high-tech sectors.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects in excess of $100M+.
  • Deep understanding of mission-critical systems (MEP, BMS, Fire Suppression, Redundancy standards).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
