Job summary

Royall in the Midlands is seeking a senior event professional to own complex, high‑value projects across a client portfolio. The role requires taking a brief, assembling the right team and delivering exceptional execution beyond the show floor.

You will manage substantial budgets, lead project managers and collaborate with clients, creatives and suppliers to deliver memorable live events, including international assignments.

• Must have events or creative/comms agency experience as an event project lead.

Location: Midlands| Hybrid – 3 days in office

This opportunity is for someone who can step into a brief, quickly understand what needs to happen, bring the right people around it, and drive the whole thing through to exceptional execution.

Someone who knows that outstanding events aren’t created on the show floor alone.

They’re built through the thinking, the planning, the detail, the relationships, the commercial control, the suppliers, the content, the production, the team — and the ability to stay ahead when the plan inevitably changes.

The opportunity

• Lead complex events, including awards, conferences, incentives, and creative projects from brief through to delivery
• Own substantial budgets and commercial delivery
• Lead Project Managers and wider delivery teams
• Partner closely with clients, creatives, suppliers and production teams
• Oversee content, film, presentations, technical, logistics and delegate experience
• Deliver UK and international events
• Contribute to pitches, proposals and new business
• Develop people and raise the standard of project delivery
