Clear. is seeking an experienced Project Lead / Project Director to drive a hyperscale data centre delivery in the UK. You will manage cost, schedule and budgets while leading sub-contractors and consultants through complex construction programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar contracting role.
• Large-scale data centre delivery experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse milestones to avoid schedule slip and track progress.
• Review proposals, pricing and scopes for accuracy.
• Lead client meetings and key stakeholder reviews.

• Review and audit cost estimates from subs and clients.
• Support design-build decisions during construction.
• Ensure equipment availability aligns with the schedule.
• Oversee scheduling reviews and approve final invoices.

We’re working with a market leading Contractor who are seeking a Project Lead / Project Director to join their team on the delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets.
• Manage Sub Contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
• Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Review construction proposals and related pricing & scopes
• Run and lead client & other required meetings.
• Monitor & identify factors that influence construction costs to create report on this data.
• Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment.
• Review, validate and audit cost estimates prepared by sub-contractors and others within a client’s organization.
• Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
• Track and ensure equipment is available as per the project schedule.
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.
• Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments.
• Oversee and manage the transfer of the construction to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a contracting environment is essential.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
