Are you an experienced infrastructure leader looking to shape the future of vital utilities in the South of England?
We re looking for a dynamic Project Director to join the senior leadership team delivering a major capital works programme in the regulated water sector. With a framework value of up to GBP1bn, this is a high–profile opportunity to lead the delivery of complex projects across a 5–year period, from design through to commissioning and handover.
You ll lead a large delivery team and act as the primary point of contact for a key client. This role demands strong stakeholder engagement, strategic oversight, and a relentless commitment to safety, performance, and collaboration.
What you ll be doing:
Leading the end–to–end delivery of major civil, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure projects
Championing a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility
Driving programme–wide performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
Building trusted relationships with client teams and internal stakeholders
Ensuring commercial outcomes are delivered on time and on budget
What we re looking for:
Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects or programmes
Strong leadership in collaborative environments (preferably in the water/utilities sector)
Deep understanding of CDM, engineering management, and collaborative contracts (e.g. NEC)
Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a solutions–focused mindset
HNC/HND or Degree in construction/engineering
NEC PM accreditation and APMP (preferred)
