Project Director

(Private & Public Sector Construction Projects)
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
Salary: Upto £90K + Great Benefits

About the Role:

We are excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a Project Director to join a national Construction business. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional based in or around the Aberdeen area, with the flexibility to travel across multiple sites and projects within the region.

You will have the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most exciting projects, joining diverse teams committed to high professional standards and exceptional levels of commitment. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Clients to define and scope the required outcomes of identified and potential Hub projects
  2. Identify and secure appropriate and affordable funding solutions
  3. Translate local and national policies into business cases and development plans, including place, net zero, inclusive economic growth, digital, and other emerging policies
  4. Coordinate feasibility studies and establish project teams as needed
  5. Assess and mitigate key risks associated with proposed developments
  6. Support and promote the implementation of the North Infrastructure Commission
  7. Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery from initial inception through to on-site completion
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

  1. Understanding of public sector processes and the ability to align Hub activities with these requirements
  2. Ability to manage innovation within a highly regulated environment
  3. Experience in preparing business cases and project bidding
  4. Organised, structured, and professional, with a passion for excellence
  5. Flexible, resilient, and capable of influencing and building relationships with key stakeholders
  6. Commitment to excellent customer service, with a passionate and enthusiastic approach
  7. Self-starter with a can-do attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges
