Opportunity: Development Project Lead at TRS Staffing

TRS Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Development Project Lead. The role involves managing the project through successful CfD auction, handover, and progressing to FID, where responsibilities transfer to the Construction Project Director.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing and delivering large-scale multi-million Euro infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of taking projects successfully into auctions and onward to FID.
• Deep knowledge of wind energy, ideally offshore wind development and/or wind development in the UK.
• Experience leading and managing complex, multi-functional teams.
• Ability to explain complex project issues clearly and straightforwardly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially for leading virtual teams across different functions.

Scope

• Ensure health and safety standards are enforced, creating a safe environment for staff, third parties, and the public.
• Understand and optimize the business case with your team.
• Oversee procurement of construction contracts that meet safety, quality, program, and budget requirements to support the FID business case.
• Develop and coordinate the UK Offshore Windfarm Project until successful FID.
• Manage relationships within a Joint Venture context, including stakeholder engagement.
• Handle project management tasks such as resourcing, scheduling, and budget tracking.
• Represent the project at stakeholder events and in networks.
• Build and maintain a stable project team aligned with organizational links.
• Ensure development and pre-construction activities meet project requirements.
• Provide guidance to maximize project value.

Certifications

• University degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or equivalent (preferable).
• Project management certification and proficiency in English or other languages are advantageous.
