We’re looking for a UK-based Project Developer to join Aggreko Energy Services (AES) team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK but requires willingness to travel within the UK (notably London) and Europe as needed. At Aggreko Energy Services, we are accelerating the energy transition by developing, owning, and operating energy infrastructure that delivers clean, reliable, and economical energy for our customers. Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you will coordinate all aspects of project development, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, scope, and regulatory requirements. You will stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to renewable energy project development. Success in this role will significantly contribute to the energy transition journeys of both existing and new customers.

What you’ll do:

• Support the delivery of the Energy Services development pipeline; coordinate all aspects of project development, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budgets, and regulatory requirements. Support M&A activities by advising on due diligence of development aspects of deals.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, landowners, contractors, and community groups, to foster positive relationships and address concerns about proposed developments.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and liabilities.
• Work with Procurement and Construction Managers to ensure adherence to procurement strategies and support contract negotiations and awards.
• Coordinate activities across departments such as engineering, construction, and legal to ensure successful project execution.
• Deliver progress reports, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders to support project decision-making.

• Extensive experience in development/project roles within power generation or renewable energy companies, with good knowledge of energy project components.
• Proven ability to lead projects effectively.
• Strong background in managing budgets, resources, and projects confidently and efficiently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Established network of energy professionals whose expertise can benefit Aggreko’s projects, along with strong collaborative skills.
