Qualifications

• Project Management experience of high volume PIA / Openreach FTTH projects is essential.
• Methodical operational experience with good man-management skills required.
• First Aid certification and a clean driving license are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high volume PIA FTTH projects involving civils, cabling, and splicing.
• Oversee management of supervisors, staff, and subcontractors ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Manage KPIs and ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager working across the East Midlands to join a UK leading contractor working on fibre /telecomms related projects. This is a chance to join an exciting, forward thinking and rapidly expanding company. This is a challenging but rewarding role, with the opportunity to grow with the business.

Key Essentials

• Reporting to the Contract Manager, responsible for monitoring high volume PIA FTTH projects on existing / new network build involving civils, underground fibre (cabling / splicing) and overhead pole works
• Overseeing the management of Supervisors, staff and subcontractors
• Ensuring all works are completed within Health, Safety, Quality and Streetwork guidelines
• Managing KPI’s and the productivity of staff
• Ensuring that schemes are delivered within tight timeframes and budgets
• Holding regular review meetings with subcontractors; ensuring that they are completing allocated work accordingly
• Key contact in liaising with the client whilst conducting regular progress meetings
