Project Delivery Manager

Working for a Rail operator as a Project Delivery Manager, this role sits within the PMO team and is focused on supporting the successful delivery of multiple transportation projects. The position involves extensive stakeholder engagement with key industry bodies such as Network Rail, HS2, Train Operating Companies (TOCs), and other transportation governing authorities.

Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 + packages

Location: London

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)

Overview:

The directorate of a Train Operator has retained the Resolute Group to secure a Project Delivery Manager. Our client collaborates closely with the DfT, GBR, and associated governing bodies.

This individual will play a pivotal role in managing an assigned project portfolio, working alongside a technically focused project manager. The focus is on ensuring projects meet industry standards and are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure project milestones, standards, and compliance requirements are met.
2. Oversee project progress to ensure stakeholders achieve their deliverables.
3. Hold stakeholders accountable when targets are not achieved.
4. Engage effectively with key stakeholders, including DfT, Network Rail, HS2, and local authorities.
5. Monitor and ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules.
6. Maintain contractual and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Coordinate project activities to ensure a structured and cohesive approach.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree supporting your experience at this level (not necessarily in Engineering or IT).
• Previous experience in the Transport industry is required, with a preference for rail experience.
• A solid understanding of project management principles is essential; deep technical expertise is not required.
