About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Projects Delivery Engineer to join our Estates Team. The role involves managing and overseeing electrical and mechanical installation projects across the University campus. You will act as a key liaison between the Principal Contractor and subcontractors, assessing the quality of installations and ensuring design compliance. Collaboration with design consultants to resolve issues on site or during the design stage is essential. You will work with project and asset management teams to ensure successful delivery and high quality of projects, primarily involving refurbishments and adaptations. Given the infrastructure and engineering-led buildings, assessing mechanical and electrical installation quality is critical to project success.

About you

You should have significant experience in delivering and overseeing mechanical and electrical projects, with a good understanding of asset assessment, reporting techniques, and issue resolution on site. Knowledge of construction processes, project procedures, legislation, and standards such as British Standards, Building Regulations, and Health and Safety is required. You must be self-motivated, communicative, and results-oriented.
