As our Project Delivery Engineer, you’ll lead the delivery of major capital projects across Cadent’s network, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll manage contractors, coordinate internal and external teams, and act as the key interface between stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills will help deliver critical infrastructure that supports millions of customers.

What you will bring
  • Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience managing construction projects within the gas distribution or utilities sector.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, NEC contracts, and HS&E management systems.
  • Familiarity with SCO, PTW, FOA, NRO, and temporary works procedures.
  • Strong understanding of RAMS, technical documentation, and environmental controls.
  • Experience in risk management, commissioning, and project handover processes.
  • Awareness of integrated security systems and operational technology (desirable).
