Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Resource Planner to manage consultant allocation and scheduling across client engagements and internal projects, ensuring delivery commitments are met.

You will assess project requirements, coordinate delivery activities, monitor consultant utilization, resolve day-to-day scheduling conflicts, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders while driving continuous improvement in processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in resource planning, project coordination, operations or customer service.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the confidence to assess information, prioritise effectively and make recommendations.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a practical and proactive approach to resolving challenges.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service and quality outcomes.
  • Previous IT or cyber security experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate delivery activities to ensure work is scheduled efficiently and client commitments are met.
  • Monitor resource utilisation and identify opportunities to maximise productive time and bring work forward where appropriate.
  • Resolve day-to-day scheduling conflicts and operational challenges, escalating significant risks when required.
  • Work closely with consultants, business development teams and managers to balance business priorities and resource demands.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, constraints and bottlenecks early, taking action to minimise their impact.
  • Support the continuous improvement of resource planning and operational processes.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, communication and quality.
