Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions, based in Rugeley, seeks a Project Cost Specialist to shape cost management across our PMO. You will develop cost templates, tools, and processes to improve forecasting, insight, and decision-making.

Collaborating with Project Managers, Finance, Planning, and Procurement, you will drive standardised cost methodologies and support programme delivery through analytics, governance, and cost control expertise.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in project cost management or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability; able to explain complex cost information clearly.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve cost management processes for estimating, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Provide cost forecasts including Estimates at Completion (EAC) and identify risks.
• Design, develop, and maintain cost tools, templates, and dashboards for reporting to stakeholders.
• Partner with programme teams on financial planning, scenario analysis, and cost-based decisions.
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to validate invoices and cost allocations.
