Job summary

Bentley Motors is seeking a Project Cost Engineer to support vehicle programmes and cost management across multiple initiatives, with hybrid working in Crewe. You will liaise between engineering, finance and purchasing to drive cost targets and deliverables from concept to delivery.

Experience in cost engineering, cost analysis or project controls is essential, with advanced Excel and ability to handle large data sets.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Analysis, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing risks, opportunities and project deliverables.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Ability to produce clear and concise reports for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of BOMs, manufacturing processes or technical product data.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support material cost planning, tracking and reporting across vehicle programmes.
• Act as liaison between project teams and cost management stakeholders.
• Coordinate project deliverables and ensure activities are completed on time.
• Manage and communicate project risks and opportunities.
• Support cost target setting and monitor performance against objectives.
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations and management information packs.
• Support key project milestone and gateway reviews.
• Analyse large volumes of technical, commercial and financial data to support decision-making.
• Influence and challenge stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
