Overview

Project Coordinator (Utilities Connections / Construction). Based commutable to Birmingham. This will include travel across the UK due to the nature of the projects.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (D.O.E) + Company Bonus + Pension + Training & Development. This role suits someone with a Project Coordination background and an understanding of Utilities Connections and disconnections.

Role Summary

This is a key role within an established company serving a wide range of clients across multiple sectors. The Project Coordinator will be involved in ongoing projects and contribute to the company’s training programme and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all logistics, documentation, scheduling, and permits for demolition projects, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
  • Manage service disconnections, site mobilisation, security, testing, and waste disposal in line with project requirements.
  • Serve as a key communication link between internal teams, external contractors, and local authorities.
  • Travel across the UK as required by project needs.
The Person
  • You will need a construction background; knowledge of demolition projects would be a huge advantage, though not essential.
  • Knowledge of utilities connections and experience dealing with utility companies is essential.
  • Strong proven experience in managing logistics, documentation, scheduling, and coordination of external resources.
