A cultural engagement organization is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their Public Engagement team, supporting major events like the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. We are now seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Public Engagement team and contribute to this exciting journey. This role will place you at the heart of the action, working alongside experts to deliver a global event that sets the new standard for major sporting celebrations.
Job Summary: As Project Coordinator, you will support the delivery of engagement initiatives, cultural celebrations, and participatory programmes designed to create a truly inclusive Games atmosphere. You will work closely with communities, cultural organisations, external partners, and a range of internal colleagues to help bring projects to life. Your days will be varied, one moment you may be coordinating meetings, the next, preparing partner communications, and the next you could be providing programme support for the administration of community-led projects. You’ll act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring information flows smoothly and engagement remains strong across all activity. You will play an important role in supporting programme administration, from preparing agendas and reports to maintaining accurate records and systems. Collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team will help ensure that the work happening across Glasgow’s communities is celebrated and amplified, while your contributions to monitoring and evaluation will help demonstrate impact.
Salary: Starting salary is £27,500.
