Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee testing and certification programmes in Fareham. You will liaise between customers and technical teams, develop robust project plans, and ensure delivery on time, within scope and within budget.

The role focuses on environmental testing, EMC, vibration, mechanical shock, battery testing and product qualification. Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager within engineering, testing or technical environments.
• Defence or Aerospace project experience beneficial but not essential.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance technical and business needs.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management capability.
• Self-driven, proactive and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through to final report delivery.
• Manage customer expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
• Produce detailed project plans, forecasts and progress reports.
• Ensure projects meet contractual timelines, scope and budget.
• Coordinate internal resources, subcontract testing and specialist equipment.
• Resolve issues affecting workflow, scheduling or profitability.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing through compliant project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to operational efficiency.
