We’re looking for aProject Coordinator (Design)to join our Planning & Design team in our Cheshire district. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the district distribution network, ensuring its security, integrity, and innovation.

What you’ll be doing

As a Project Coordinator (Design), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing deliverable projects up to 11kV, typically valued around £1m.
  • Managing connection requests and ensuring compliance with regulatory and licence requirements.
  • Producing efficient, cost-effective designs aligned with customer and asset management needs.
  • Supporting continual performance improvement and exploring innovative design solutions.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and third-party providers.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and embedding safety into all project designs.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Expert knowledge of HV/LV design standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in a project delivery or network design role.
  • Technical and operational experience in a relevant engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in network analysis modelling tools (LV and HV).
  • A relevant qualification (crafts, apprenticeship, S/NVQ) or equivalent experience.
