  • Provide research, coordination, and liaison support for capital works schemes.
  • Offer advice to senior management in capital scheme delivery.
  • Liaise with designers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate in-house works related to assigned schemes.
  • Manage approved contractors and measure performance.

Job description

To work as a key member of the department's capital development team, providing expertise and effective coordination of the annual capital programme. Assist with the development of capital works, policies, environmental impacts, and Trust business development as part of an integrated team.

Work closely with the Head of Capital & Senior Estates Officer to ensure effective management and delivery of cost-efficient, quality, and performance-driven estate development and capital project management services within agreed guidelines and objectives, for Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Capital & Senior Estates Officer in project delivery, including meetings, minute-taking, and action coordination.
  • Provide research, coordination, and liaison support for capital works schemes.
  • Offer advice, guidance, and support to senior management in capital scheme delivery.
  • Liaise with designers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders regarding design and construction of schemes.
  • Coordinate in-house works and isolations with the estates maintenance team related to assigned schemes.
  • Manage approved contractors, ensuring compliance with standards such as public & employer liability, qualifications, and training. Measure performance and prepare KPIs where possible.
