Job description

Our dynamic Technology and Construction Projects team is looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support a range of exciting initiatives across the business. This role is key in ensuring the smooth running of our projects by providing essential administrative and coordination support to project managers and the programme manager.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will assist in maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, coordinating meetings, and supporting the delivery of technology and construction projects across our UK operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced project environment.

This role is based in our Bristol office and is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager and Project Managers across multiple projects, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage project schedules and calendars, coordinating meetings, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update project trackers, ensuring accurate recording of project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Support procurement processes, including raising purchase orders, tracking invoices, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, ensuring key updates and project information are shared effectively across teams.
  • Assist in organising and documenting project governance meetings, including taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • Ensure compliance with company project management frameworks and documentation standards.
  • Support risk and issue tracking, ensuring that identified risks are logged and followed up on accordingly.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and providing reports to project managers.
What We're Looking for in You
  • Previous experience in a project administration or coordination role, preferably within technology or construction projects.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, or Smartsheets being desirable.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach, ensuring accuracy in documentation and follow-ups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing project demands.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or Agile, would be advantageous.
  • Experience in financial administration, including raising purchase orders and tracking project expenses.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to technology and construction projects.
  • Experience in organising meetings, taking minutes, and tracking action points effectively.
