Job description

The Project Coordinator will work within the Design department, reporting to the Design Manager.

Grant engineering participate in several, government backed schemes in partnership with third party providers, giving homeowners support when installing a sustainable heating system. The role is varied, ranging from dealing with applications from installers, managing information requests from our external sales team and our service providing partners. On occasion you will be required to produce heat loss calculations and quotations as part of these initiatives.

You will work as part of a team of designers and will be required to provide support to the wider team when necessary, covering for holiday and sickness absence.

Main Duties

  • Familiarise with Grant schemes and regularly check for updates on government websites
  • Study scheme guidelines, official documentation, terms and conditions
  • Contacting scheme administrators for clarification on rules, attending webinars or briefings on upcoming changes
  • Explaining scheme rules to customers / installers
  • Receiving and logging phone and email requests from external sales
  • Ensuring each request includes essential details: property size, insulation, window types, usage, etc.
  • Prioritising urgent or time sensitive requests.
  • Managing expectations on turnaround for reports
