About The Role

This role is accountable for ensuring the day to day running and organisation of our Smart Places business stream from a programme coordinator perspective and office assistant in Sunderland.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide administration support to the Sunderland team in a timely manner. This includes correspondence, files and work requests, diary management activities.
  • Manage invoices, expense claims and purchase orders in conjunction with the Finance Team in London
  • Support day-to-day office operations
  • Order and manage inventory and cost of office supplies against budget
  • Handle routine items including email, phone calls, data entry and paperwork
  • Organise office equipment (phones, voicemail, postal services, copier, fax-machine, printers)
  • Prepare meeting rooms for training and meetings, organise luncheons, breakfast and dinner meetings for the team and clients
  • Welcome and sign visitors in/out ensuring security protocols are adhered to
  • Support marketing activities that increase brand awareness and assist in generating leads for business development
  • Support global branding guidelines, best practice and marketing initiatives
  • Support special events activities where required.
