OCU Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join the team based in Nottingham.

As the Project Coordinator you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of telecom projects such as network installations, upgrades, and service rollouts. This role ensures effective coordination between cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients, while tracking project progress, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Your Roles And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for telecommunications projects (fibre, wireless, data, and voice systems).
  • Support project managers in scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and budgets, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including work orders, progress reports, and change requests.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
  • Assist with procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.
  • Ensure compliance with telecom industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients.
  • Provide administrative and technical support during project lifecycle.

What you will need to be successful in this role: You will need to have proven experience in project coordination, preferably in the telecommunications industry, with knowledge of telecom infrastructure (fibre optics, wireless networks, VoIP, etc.)
