Job description

AVK UK are currently seeking a proactive and organised Project Co-Ordinator to join our Sales and Project department. This is a key position within our business, acting as the main point of contact for our UK customers, providing quotations, processing orders, and supporting ongoing projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process customer orders and raise purchase orders for project-related items
  2. Prepare quotations and technical documentation for customer projects
  3. Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
  4. Advise customers on pricing, lead times, delivery dates, and product suitability
  5. Liaise with suppliers and technical support to ensure customer requirements are met
  6. Assist with customer complaints and raise discrepancy forms as required
  7. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products
  8. Support Key Account Managers and Market Sector Managers with project delivery
  9. Conduct proactive sales calls to enhance orders and customer engagement
  10. Use internal systems to raise quotes, place orders, and confirm purchase orders
  11. Provide assistance to the wider Customer Service team when needed
Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Previous experience in a sales support, project coordination, or customer service role
  2. Strong organisational and communication skills
  3. Technical aptitude or willingness to learn about our product range
  4. Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
  5. Confident working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  6. IT literate with experience using order processing or CRM systems
Desirable:
  1. Experience working within a technical or manufacturing environment
