Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Coordinator to join a leading rail company’s Major Projects Directorate. In this role, you will support the coordination and administration of major rail projects, ensuring efficient project governance, reporting, and communication.

What you’ll do:

• Organize and facilitate project governance meetings, ensuring agendas, minutes, and actions are accurately documented.
• Support the standardization of project reporting across the Major Projects Directorate.
• Assist project managers in creating and reviewing project dashboards, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
• Draft, proofread, and format reports for the Major Projects Director and senior team members.
• Develop and maintain a system for storing and organizing project documentation.
• Manage project-related financial tasks, including raising and tracking purchase orders.
• Provide administrative support, including arranging meetings, travel, and accommodation.
• Coordinate internal communications, including Directorate Away Days and engagement activities.
• Record and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Major Projects Directorate.
• Provide diary management support to the Major Projects Director and senior leadership team.

Your superpowers:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in a project coordination or administrative role, ideally within the transportation or infrastructure sector.
