Our client is a leading environmental consultancy specialising in ecology, arboriculture, landscape, flood risk, and habitats are now on the lookout for a Project Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Coordinator to come onboard and drive success and efficiency across a variety of exciting, environmentally impactful projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a passionate team of experts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

With over 100 staff (across their 4 offices), including a team of more than 80 dedicated ecologists, they deliver a wide portfolio of projects across the UK and Ireland. Their work spans everything from local housing developments and retail projects to nationally significant transport infrastructure and large-scale regeneration schemes. This vacancy is looking to be filled in both their Nottingham and Stafford office.

Project Coordinator Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: 25,000- 30,000

Project Coordinator Job Overview

  • Assisting with the setup of new projects, ensuring resourcing and scheduling needs are in place
  • Supporting planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities across teams

Project Coordinator Job Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, professional manner
  • Previous experience in a coordination, support, or admin role (ideally within a consultancy environment)
  • A solid understanding of project management principles (Waterfall/Agile exposure is a bonus)
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software
  • A passion for environmental and ecological work, with a desire to learn more
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
