MWH Treatment are in a period of significant growth and we arelooking to strengthen our delivery team by recruiting for a temporary Project Coordinator.
This new role will be based in Derby, with hybrid working available and is offered initially on temporary 3 Month basis. The successful candidate will provide support across a range of MWH Treatment’s regional and project areas of responsibility, supporting the business to improve its delivery efficiencies.
Reporting to a member of the regional management team, the successful candidate will work alongside members of the regional team, project delivery teams and wider business. They will support the growth of business processes and development of business reporting. The specifics and responsibilities of the role requirements will develop with time.
Key responsibilities are likely to include:
- Assisting in the preparation of Project, Programme and Regional management documentation.
- Supporting the development ofbusiness processes across a range of business areas.
- Supporting project monitoring, ensuring processes are effective and sufficient for business needs.
- Supporting reporting development, improving the Region’s view of its performance.
- Maintaining and developing the businesses strong client relationships within the Region.
- Liaising with Pre-Contract, Design, Engineering and Operational Delivery teams, to provide additional support as necessary.
- Supporting Project Management teams to efficiently deliver MWH Treatment’s ongoing projects.
- Liaising with regional teams, including Commercial, Finance, HR, Office Management and others to provide additional support as necessary.
Personal skills required:This temporary and developing role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate intellect, flexibility and initiative to be successful. They will be expected to maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback at all levels within the business.A base knowledge of project management and experience in confidently handling challenging situations will be valuable in this role. A basic knowledge of the water industry and water treatment would be helpful but is not a requirement.The incumbent will be required to undertake such duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this roleIn all internal and external contact, the successful candidate will present a professional and positive image of MWH Treatment whilst maintaining and developing mutually constructive, positive and beneficial business relationships.At all times, the role incumbent is expected to take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality and protect business information.Future Opportunity:This temporary position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to provide additional support to a variety of MWH Treatment's business areas. Should the selected candidate prove confident and capable in this role, there is a chance that a permanent position could become available in the future.
