What's the role?
The Project Co-ordinator is a highly organised, customer facing, professional and detail-oriented individual who will work in our Utility Services team. They are responsible for the efficient delivery of utility infrastructure services to I & C customers across the UK.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the role involves the timely progression of all relevant administration tasks, including co-ordination / liaison with the customer, the DNO’s Energy Suppliers, Meter Operators, landowners and other third party stakeholders as necessary.
The Project Co-ordinator will ensure that projects related to the development, maintenance, and upgrading of utility infrastructure are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
The Project Coordinator will act as the central point of contact for all project activities, collaborating with various stakeholders, managing schedules, and ensuring the timely delivery of utility services projects.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone to step into a department at the heart of SMS’s plans to grow into all the above sectors and support growth in the UK’s critical National Infrastructure.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis and the contractual hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
