Job description

Summary for Project Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of small projects by coordinating sub-contractors, managing customer timeline expectations, and facilitating communication both internally (across multiple teams) and externally (with customer contacts).

This position requires a strong 'can-do' attitude and proficiency in principles of project management to oversee project progress and deliver results.

This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday. Please note, due to our client's location, you will need access to your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities for Project Coordinator

  • Coordinate subcontractors to execute works, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards/deliverables.
  • Administration tasks, PO raising and subcontractor stock management.
  • Utilise project management software to track progress and report on project status.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Oversee compliance of on-site works including H&S reporting to customers.
  • New sub-contractor sourcing (both pre and post-sale)
  • Manage and file project completion documents.

Skills & Experience for Project Coordinator

  • Proven experience in sub-contractor management and project coordination is essential.
  • Experience in stock management and purchasing, both product and services, is essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is advantageous for managing client interactions.
  • Proficiency in using project management software is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills & 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for successful stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis skills to support strategic planning and execution of projects.
