The Vacancy

Are you a highly organised and detailed driven individual looking to make an impact on a high-profile project?

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the Programme Manager in the creation and delivery of complex projects and workstreams for the Bank of England tenders (Print, Substrate and Features).

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the centre of a cross-functional team and will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders to help ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Track project budgets and cost tracker
  • Track project progress of deliverables and milestones
  • Work with delivery teams across our sites (Basingstoke, Westhoughton, Debden and Malta)
  • Work with the Head of Programme to document the risk sensitivities residing within each project and workstream
  • Track dependencies across the programme, risk, issues and requirements

Contract type: Fixed Term (12 Months)

Working hours: Full Time – 36.5 hrs per week (9am – 5:15pm Mon, 9am – 5pm Tues – Fri)

Base location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g. MS Project).
  • 2-4 years of experience in a project support or coordination role
  • Awareness of risk and issue management
  • Recognised foundation Level PPM or PMO qualification
  • PRINCE2 or PMP qualification
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Degree or Apprenticeship Level 6 or equivalent ideally in a business-related qualification
