Qualifications

Job description

Boden Group deliver facilities maintenance services, project construction and refurbishment works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to manage and drive the successful delivery of our projects.

Main Duties of the role:

  • Assist in developing project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and schedule project meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting key actions and decisions.
  • Maintain project schedules, tracking milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Act as the central point of contact for project teams.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, risk logs, and change requests, while tracking progress and highlighting risks, delays, or issues to project managers.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports.
  • Assist in tracking project budgets and resources, ensuring projects remain within agreed limits.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, or services required for project delivery.
  • Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Develop and enhance standardised templates, systems, and processes.
  • Effectively manage time and workload by prioritising tasks, balancing conflicting demands, and ensuring deadlines are met in a structured and organised manner.
  • Take a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving by identifying challenges, assessing potential solutions, and implementing effective resolutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a project coordination or a project support role.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases and associated documentation.
  • Familiarity with contract or compliance requirements in project delivery.
  • Experience working within facilities management, construction, or similar sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft and experience using project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with contract or compliance requirements in project delivery (e.g., H&S, CDM Regulations).

Desirable:

  • A recognised project management qualification or training (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, APM Project Fundamentals, AgilePM, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of formal project management methodologies.
  • CAPM.
