Our PMO Yorkshire Northeast team seeks to expand its Controls community. With regional growth, including new Major Programmes, Projects, and Clients, we seek flexible, mobile Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management candidates to serve our local region. Travel within Yorkshire and the Northeast will depend on the project and can be discussed during recruitment. You will work in our Project Controls team on high-profile infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis. Responsibilities may include working with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures, establish progress and cost monitoring methods, produce control reports, and offer performance insights and recommendations.

Applicants should have experience in a project controls environment within sectors like Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water/Utilities, and familiarity with Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, or PMO.

Qualifications

• A relevant graduate qualification with some experience in project control.
• Experience managing delivery or controls for projects, programmes, or portfolios.
• Proficiency in Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong time management, quick thinking, and deadline adherence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of planning principles and schedule construction.
• Experience with schedule assurance reviews, using tools like Primavera Schedlog, Acumen Fuse, or DCMA 14 Point Checklist.
• Skills in schedule monitoring, baseline management, progress data collection, performance measurement, and variance reporting.
• Ability to evaluate project status and foster a positive Schedule Management culture.
