Our PMO Scotland team is expanding its Controls community. We seek passionate candidates across all professional, senior professional, and managerial grades who will support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and foster our values, especially Bringing out the best in Everyone.

With growth in major programmes, projects, and clients, we’re looking for flexible, mobile Planning, Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to deliver services within Scotland. Travel may be required based on project needs. Opportunities span sectors including Power, Water, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Local Authority, and Shipyards.

You will work within our Project Controls team on high-profile infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis. Responsibilities include developing work breakdown structures, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods, producing control reports, and offering performance insights.

Experience in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector (Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water/Utilities) is essential. Knowledge in Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, or PMO is also required.

  • Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some project control experience.
  • Experience managing or controlling projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  • Proficiency with controls software such as Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong time management, quick thinking, and deadline adherence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of planning principles and schedule construction.
  • Quality assurance skills using Primavera Schedlog, Acumen Fuse, or similar tools.
  • Effective schedule monitoring, baseline management, and variance reporting.
  • Ability to evaluate project status and foster a positive schedule management culture.
