Our client, an energy infrastructure company, is seeking a Project Controls Officer. This role is within the oil & gas, energy, and construction industry, based in Rochester, for a 12-month contract inside IR35.

Role:

Participate in virtual job fairs.

As a Project Controls Officer, you will work with the wider Project Controls team to ensure departmental deliverables are prepared on time and communicated clearly, such as the Project Management Plan.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and maintaining SharePoint and Power BI dashboards
• Change control and risk management
• Development and delivery of core functions within the Engineering & Construction department
• Governance reporting, including compiling key datasets, performance indicators, and metrics
• Planning and schedule development within a multi-project environment, analyzing and reporting key metrics from integrated programmes (Primavera and MS Project)

Role Requirements:

The candidate will support the Project Controls lead with administration and team organization. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse individuals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in a STEM subject is desirable
• Experience in Project Controls functions within construction or utilities sectors
• Industry experience in UK Gas, LNG projects, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG Production, Storage, Vaporization, Shipping, Cryogenic Pipelines, or Gas Compression, or at top-tier COMAH sites
• Good understanding of main Project Controls functions such as cost, change, risk, and planning
