Job Description:

KLA is seeking a Project Controls Manager (PCM) with expertise in cost estimating, cost control, planning & scheduling, and contracts. The PCM will work closely with the Corporate Facilities team, contractors, architects, consultants, and internal departments such as Legal, Real Estate, Finance, Purchasing, and Insurance. Responsibilities include managing cost, schedule, and contracts for capital projects, coordinating executive reports, and supporting the Long-Range Plan.

Educational and Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Civil Engineering or Construction Management) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in project controls within commercial and industrial construction.
  • Experience in microelectronic or pharmaceutical industries, especially with cleanrooms and process piping, is preferred.
Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Manage a range of projects from simple to complex manufacturing retrofit projects, including project funding, cost basis reporting, and senior management updates.
  • Report on cost, schedule, risk, contracts, and issues globally.
  • Support Project Managers during bid processes.
  • Manage consultants and lead FTEs in the future.
Position Summary:
  • Develop project funding documents, assist in budgeting, scheduling, risk analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Review engineering and contractor estimates, bids, change orders, invoices, and progress.
  • Responsible for budgeting, tracking, and controlling costs onsite, with travel up to 30%, mainly in Europe.
Technical Ability Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge in construction cost and schedule management.
  • Analytical skills in estimate analysis, bid evaluation, budgeting, risk modeling, and benchmarking.
  • Proficiency in estimating from conceptual to definitive stages, and in software such as Excel, Primavera P6, Timberline, Ecosys, Skire, Visio, and PowerBi is a plus.
